My interest in photography began more than 35 years ago with the purchase of my first SLR camera. A Pentax as I recall. To better understand 35mm photography I took several courses at the local community college and learned the basics of the camera, composition, and lighting.

In 2001 I purchased my first digital camera and have never looked backed. I enjoy the control I have over the final print that digital imaging offers.

I consider our National Parks one of America's most precious assests and that is where most of my photographs are from. I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I enjoy creating them.
